Looking for something to do, help our fellow aviators and rally behind the upcoming Porepunkah Bush Fire Fly-In

Bright and surrounds have been impacted by the recent bushfires. Tourists, who are the lifeblood of the region, have dropped in numbers significantly since the fires despite Bright and the towns in the region having not sustained any damage. Businesses in the region are doing it tough.

The Porepunkah Airfield community are rallying behind local businesses and they need your help. Join us on the 18th and 19th of April for a fun weekend at the Bushfire Recovery Fly-in.

We encourage you to fly to Porepunkah and then visit businesses in Bright and surrounds to provide your support. Stay a few nights, visit the vast array of cafe’s, restaurants and wineries and take home some culinary delights.

The Porepunkah Airfield is located in the beautiful Alpine Shire near Bright and at the base of Mt Buffalo. Bright and surrounds are famous for food, wine, natural beauty and outdoor sports. A town for all seasons Bright is a much loved tourist destination.
